No, our system is a standalone system that will function independently of your network. However certain features like mobile alerting and incident logging will require network connectivity.

Will your system always send responders to the correct location?

Yes, our system is extremely accurate because we use technology that:

  • doesn’t bleed through walls or ceilings
  • doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi triangulation
How reliable is your system?

Our system is reliable because it is designed as a life safety system, like a commercial fire alarm system. All system infrastructure is hardwired.

Does your solution integrate with other security technology?

Yes, we can control other technology like access control and camera systems using Pinpoint’s dry contact relay. 

What happens if we lose power?

Our system has backup battery power.

Very little maintenance is required. The ID badge holders require battery changes every few years, depending on usage.
